Our Lady of the Rosary
O Pilgrim Virgin, hear my plea,
Dear Lady of the Rosary.
Mother of the Lofty One —
Mother of this lowly one —
Virgin, pure and undefiled,
Please turn your eyes to me, your child.
The way is choked with mists and fears;
I stumble through this vale of tears.
At times I'm like an orphan waif,
Forgetful of His gift of Faith.
Stupidly, sometimes, I roam,
I need you near to guide me home.
Dear Virgin, quiet and serene,
How beautiful to me you seem.
Blue of eyes, and fair of face,
Alight with sanctifying grace.
Gentle smile on Christ-touched lips,
Your radiance, sun and moon eclipse.
Your soul does magnify the Lord,
Who is your Son — my God adored.
You are my sweetness, hope and love,
My stairway to His throne above.
O Pilgrim Virgin, come and be
My Lady of the Rosary.
