May is Mary's Month
The month of May is yours, Dear Lady. Dear, dear Lady. They are glorious days. Not just because they are yours, but because this is that heady, fragrant time of year bursting with sunlight and blossoms and the great "feeling" of the miracles of mother nature as she rushes headlong from Spring's magic into the extravagances of Summer.
Hark, all you peoples. Do you hear that sound? It is a door opening, the door out of the month of Mary into the month of Jesus.
Do you see Mary's holy hands, delicate as peach blossoms, propelling you gently forward through that opening door into June, and an inviting, restful tabernacle where there is infinite peace — the peace of the most Sacred, Blessed, Holy, Merciful, Compassionate, Lovable and loving Heart of Mary's Son?
So, Bless this month of May, all you peoples. Bless this precious Gift of God. I, in my turn, now fling open the door of my heart. Will you walk in Mary? Please, my Lady, please do so.
Will you, my Gentle One, step inside and take up your abode inside my heart? Will you, I pray, permit that I close the door behind you and lock you in, never to let you go again?
You have taken possession of my heart. I would not have it otherwise. Never in a million years.
O Mary, my Lady, so pure of heart, so gentle of bearing, will you draw me, your ever so small creature, ever closer to the Heart of your beloved Son?
I entreat you; propel me forward from your month of May into His month of June. From your Immaculate Heart into His most Blessed Heart, together in peace and repose.
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”[1] So Softly spoken, I am sure.
Through you, my beloved Mary, to Jesus, I offer my love. Amen.
