Thoughts for this Holy Thursday

O Sacred Host — Most holy gift,

To you, this day, my hands I lift.

You give your precious self to me,

Body, blood, and divinity.

Of all of me you are a part;

Cherishing you here in my heart.

To love with all the love I know,

As on life's pilgrimage I go.

To love you, honor, and obey;

To walk steadfast along your way.

This is my hope until at last

My sojourn on this earth is past.
