Fraternity Messages

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Our Minister General, Encarcion del Pozo has asked us to contribute to the upcoming General Chapter in November. She asks for our prayers and our thoughts as they define objectives for the future of our Order. This request is a reflection of who and what we are today. Please read the letter and document below, pray and consider this an opportunity to share your thoughts.

We have been asked that every professed member take time to pray about the items and reflect on the questions first individually then as a community in your local fraternity gathering. We will be discussing your thoughts at our annual regional gathering and submit your responses to our National Fraternity and International Council.

Please review the attached from our Minister General.  The Regional Council has decided that this would be a wonderful opportunity to have dialog in local fraternities and at ARG.

We will not be having a fraternity meeting in July because of our picnic but I still need for you to review the documents and reflect on the questions. Within the next week or so  Judy Haupt will be asking all the fraternities within the region to provide answers to the following two questions.

  - Describe your sense of belonging to the SO and your realization of our Order's uniqueness?

 - What objectives would you define for the SO for the next six years?  (i.e. where do we go from her?)

May the Lord give you peace! Willie
